Bipartisan omnibus appropriations agreement for fiscal year 2022

Helene Fuld College of Nursing Secures $1,000,000 in funding from U.S Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand!
The global pandemic has brought its many challenges to the higher education landscape and healthcare in general. The past two years has taught us to adapt, and rise up to challenges head on.
Helene Fuld College has been educating nurses for over 75 years. With the current nursing shortage, it is crucial, now more than ever, that we educate and produce clinically prepared nurses, ready for the workforce.
These funds could not have come at a more opportune time. Many of our students are still struggling financially. This investment to the College from Senator Schumer and Senator Gillibrand will help address financial concerns around offering services that help better prepare our nursing students for the challenging labor force.
On behalf of all the faculty, staff and students, we would like to say THANK YOU! For believing in our mission and vision of providing a dynamic career-ladder approach to nursing education to improve professional practice and contribute to the health of communities.
