The Office of External Affairs handles external communications and serves as the primary point of contact for members of the news media requesting interviews with college personnel or seeking information about administrative, academic or student matters.

The office promotes the achievements of the college by disseminating information (via press release, media advisory, editorial, etc.) about faculty, students, grants, special events, and other newsworthy items to the press.
